It did my heart good to see 54,000 cheering fans waving their homer hankies and hugging their family members. A real hometown victory for some classy homespun fans.

Baseball, a game anyone can play. The family reunion or company picnic would not be the same without baseball.

You are right about families and baseball as far as I can see. Anyone can play. I say this after seeing "Blind Baseball," played with a beeping ball.
I have a classmate named William that is blind in name only. Never seen a person quicker to help me in a door as my hands were full.
Red October may come again.
